Many adults wish they had learnt how money works when they were younger. Learning the hard way can cost money, time and opportunities.
Quest Beyond is an interactive app that helps teenagers learn and practise essential money skills. They make choices, see the consequences and build confidence in how to earn, spend, save and protect their money.
We’ve created a gamified experience where teenagers learn about money through quests and challenges, with a story that gives them a reason to keep exploring.

Qori is a living book, once full of wisdom about money and finding his way through the world. Now all his pages are missing.
As teenagers learn, they help him recover that lost wisdom. Their progress becomes part of his story.
Teenagers need a reason to learn and somewhere to put that learning into practice. Quest Beyond gives them both by putting them in charge of a simulated drinks business. As they build and grow it, they learn new money concepts when they become useful, apply them straight away and see the results of their decisions.

I studied Mathematics at Imperial, but that didn’t stop me from being extremely naive about money. Throughout my career, and later while building a seven-figure business, I made costly mistakes. Some still keep me up at night. I often wish I had learned the essentials of money when I was younger.
Quest Beyond is my answer to that regret. I’m building it to give teenagers the head start I wish I’d had: somewhere to ask questions, practise making decisions and build their judgement before those decisions carry real consequences.
